After garnering huge success with Gadar 2, popular filmmaker Anil Sharma came up with a new family drama film, Vanvaas. On the occasion of Dusshera, he announced the Vanvaas Movie release date as December 20, 2024. Further, he went on his Instagram platform, to share an announcement teaser with the tag “ Parivaar ke liye ek Parivaarik film”, thus he delighted the fans, who excitedly waited for the film’s release.

The Vanvaas Movie trailer has been launched, sharing touching glimpses of the facets of human bonds and how they characterize Individuals’ lives in so many transforming ways. From familial connections to love, affection, resilience, and vulnerability, it depicts the meaning of genuine connections, not just created by bloodline but built by love, understanding, acceptance, and support. While posting the trailer of Vanvaas on his social media platforms, Nana Patekar described the film as, “A tale of love, regret, and redemption”. Anil Sharma, who directed mega-hits like Gadar, Gadar 2, and Apne, once again created a family drama film with riveting storytelling.

• Nana Patekar: Nana Patekar, a passionate actor made his acting debut in 1978 with the Bollywood drama Gaman. Afterward, he acted in various Marathi and Bollywood movies. 
• Utkarsh Sharma: Utkarsh Sharma, is the son of famous filmmaker Anil Sharma.  He made his first appearance as Charanjeet in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and later, played a main role in Genius, an action thriller opposite Ishitha Chauhan.

It’s grounded in realism, reflecting the problems and dynamics of today’s families. This is not a melodramatic film, but one that’s based on the real-life issues families face.”
